Only problem with EVERY kingpin lock ive seen commercially available is that they are easily broken with either brute force or less than 1 min with a grinder.

I have a few ideas for one that can not be broken with brute force and would take at least 5 mins with a grinder... Maybe even 10 mins and several grinding wheels.

To beat brute force it must have some serious mass and tensile strength... To beat a grinder it must be incredibly hard... But if its that hard it has to be made from incredibly expensive steel, otherwise it becomes brittle amd would be easily beaten with brute force.

Some day I will machine one for myself that neither brute force or a grinder will beat... At least not very quickly or easily. If I can find a Stainless Steel that can be heat treated to the point it eats grinder wheels very rapidly and doesn't become too brittle, then it will also be highly resistant to a cutting torch... But I'm not as familiar with heat treating stainless as I am with mild steel.

I have an amazing idea for a 53-ft long padlock that will help secure trailers. I'm trying to get it patented.

Need to make one that will transmit to a receiver hidden on the trailer that will notify a cell phone when it is being tampered with.

    Also a independent siren
