Take some ham, brown it up in butter or margarine. Good with eggs, or as a Grilled ham and cheese sandwich. I usually trim what’s left after the best parts gone. Freeze it, for future breakfast or lunch, always leave enough on the bone for ham soup. Best part of the holidays. Spiral ham, from Dearborn Sausage Co. in Detroit. Don’t care for the overpriced overrated Honey baked ham. Tastelessness in comparison, rather just get a Kroger brand. They’re pretty good too. Best boiled ham is Kraukus extra lean polish ham, sliced very thin. Not a big fan of salt cured ham. My Grandpa was, along with red eye gravy, made with coffee. It’s good stuff. My Grandma made him one fir Christmas once. Kept warning him not to eat too much. He didn’t listen, ended up having a stroke! Grandma couldn’t tell the story with a straight face. Lol.

And in the BTW column............the doctor did not speak very kindly about the overall physical conditioning of truck drivers as a whole.

He said there's a super high rate of diabetes, and it usually goes down hill fast from there.

SO, I know everyone hates my old sayings, but The OM said -

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Word.

WHAT truck drivers are in poor health? Say it ain’t so. You mean the guy in front of me who can’t seem to tie his shoes ( at least 450 lbs ) buying 2 pints of ice cream and 2 packs of cigarettes is a risk.
