That's what I'm looking at myself, it'll be a miniscule difference over the course of the next 2 days. More than anything I'm just impatient to be out of the truck after 2 months since my last time off.

Here’s a call I got 4 hours ago.

“We got a driver who overlooked his text and didn’t load today, and was going to see if you could load first thing in morning and deliver tomorrow afternoon 225 loaded miles.”

“Yep, it’ll cost you a grand.”

“Why so much?”

“It’s a day late, they will make you wait until after 2000, and there’s a winter mix coming in there tomorrow night.”

“We’ll get back to you.”

4 hours later.

“I think we can get that.”

me “It’s now $1200.”

“What why?”

me
“Leaving me hanging for 4 hours, then calling me after hours.”

“I’ll call you back.”

me “Next time it’ll go to $1500.”

I guess I’m tired of playing games.
I don’t care, I got a load Wed booked anyway, can’t miss what you never had.
