I googled potato pancake and Wiki keeps trying to hit me up for a three dollar donation. They claim they have asked me twice. Whatever.
I love ho cake with fresh sausage, tomato and kings syrup. I never even thought about frying mashed potatoes. Can't wait to get home. The old lady gonna crap her pants when I ask her to make some mashed potatoes only to see me patty them up.
What if it Snows?

I seldom eat fish, but I do like an occasional piece of catfish.
I had the catfish in mind, but when the waitress came to take my order I blurted out "ribs and sliced brisket".
Maybe next time for the catfish......tommymonza, stuckinthemud, kemosabi49 and 10 others Thank this. -
I don't Arby's, but this bears looking in to.....stuckinthemud, InTooDeep, Dale thompson and 5 others Thank this. -

But at least I know what to try if my back is to the wall and the only food available is Arby's.
But a well-executed French Dip made with quality ingredients lights my fuse, fer sure!tommymonza, InTooDeep, Dale thompson and 6 others Thank this. -
Well this sucks. Everyone is talking about Arby's. The nearest one is now in Augusta. A good 2 hours drive

What a day. My Daughter tested positive for Covid last Thursday. Being Type 1 Diabetic, we’ve been very worried. One week before She was scheduled to get the Vaccine through Work. She works at a Nursing Home, and at a Hospital. So far only minor symptoms. Slight headache and fever, slight sore throat, the next 5-7 days are going to be pins and needles for Us. Today the Vet called to say my 6 yr old Chihuahua probably has heart disease. Suggests some meds. Meanwhile I found some tile on Craigslist. The plan was to p/u meds, go look at tile, go to Walmart. Called the Vet, asked if he’d still be in at 5:15, he says yes, pull up to side door. So we get to Vets, pull up to the Door, and call, no answer. We leave. I get a call, I say I’m still nearby, I’ll be right there. He says OK, pull up to the side door, I’ll be right out. We go back to Vet. No ones there. I call, no answer. We wait a few minutes. Phone rings. It’s the Tile Guy, he asks, if I’m still coming to look at the tile. I explain I’m at my Vets still, 20 minutes away. He says, OK, no problem, just pull up to the side door. We hung up, I then realized I had been communicating with him the whole time, not the Vet. We had a good laugh. I wondered how I can schedule multiple stops, across 1200 miles, and Can’t get 2 simple things done. Anyways, we bought 288 sq ft of nice tile. 5 bags of poly mortar mix, 2 bags of poly grout, and a 50# bag of self leveling compound for $358. Loaded it all in the little Pontiac. It’s squatted pretty low. Got a small Turkey at Walmart for $2.50, the can of Bruce’s Yams cost more than the Turkey, Lol. We p/u’d some fish and chips, and made coffee, now I have to unload all that tile. Tomorrow morning I’ll get the Doggie meds. Hopefully it will help her out. Wife commented, We got a lot done today after all. I’ll agree once the tiles unloaded. Lol
