I have not researched this. But I believe Chuck was the real father of using the Guitar with Rock. Just like Henry Ford did not invent mass production OR parts that would interchange Ford was the first use both to change how cars were made. Berry changed rock&roll forever. Most heavy metal artists "if they tell the truth" will credit Berry for his contributions to the beginnings of Rock!

My dream Someday is to have a catamaran over in Asia.

Made it a 100 miles north from bumfok Luther to Grand Rapids last night , that was treacherous but another story.

2 day layover in GR with friends than I am heading for SW Florida with the boat in tow,

Their flying out to Key West for 10 days and I am shooting for meeting them down there.

 

They used to do a killer dip with peppers ,onions and cheese. 20 years ago.

The one they offer now is kinda boring.

Rueben’s in Lake station Indiana do a Killer Chicago beef. And their Chicago dogs are awesome too.

Cheap too. Sandwich is $5 with fries.

Great old place a block from the highway.

I hope their open on Friday because after thinking about it I might detour down 65 instead of 31 and load up on them for my trip to Florida.

Wish I had a freezer in the van.


Just looked up the out of route mileage. 34 miles. Pulling the boat I’m getting 9mpg so another $10 in fuel and dealing with the chaos on 94 through that stretch.

Going to have to think about it.

Solved that , not open on New Years.

I will instead treat my self to a prime rib sandwich and a couple Guinness at the British Pub when I get down to Bonita Springs

Heading up to Arby’s now for a beef and cheddar something I never eat from there.

Last couple years has been the gyro 2 for $6. Eat one save one.

This cheddar has been my craving for the past 48 hours since the idea got lit in my head on this thread.

Just got back into civilization and the roads are slick and my bed at friends house is warm but dang nabit some times a guy has gotta do what a guy gotta do.

 

Arby's is one of those places I just don't like going to. I think it stems from my first try (during the Carter admin if that gives you a reference point) got sick from it. Haven't been able to gag down the beef from them since. Every decade or so I end up trying them again.

Last time they had a chicken parm sandwich. It was good. Rolled up to one a couple of weeks later, No longer served, It was a limited time thing....
