Another thought - what happens if after changing the batteries everything looks fine, but 1,000 miles down the road the batteries cook themselves again?

Or when changing the batteries Otter somehow shorts an ecu?

I am willing to do a lot to help the company because helping the company helps me. However I will always protect myself first, then look after the company.

 

Some basic mechanical skill is a must in this industry. Even if it’s just to accurately communicate an issue to a tech. I always get what I needed fixed partially because I can tell the tech in his terms what’s going on or I can help him quickly eliminate some potential bad alleys. Now when I go in they remember me and I get out of the shop quicker. I also bring them donuts or pizza or something.

As competitive as this industry is I’m more than glad everyone doesn’t have my mechanic experience. I believe it will help me get ahead.

I don’t plan to leave Western Express, as I’ve said before I’m happy there...but at some point I may be ready for more of a challenge... but I’ll jump off that bridge when I get to it.

 

Dang. I’d be hard pressed to not change a filter. Especially when I can see it.

 

I wish I could go on a two week cruise.

 

That’s easy to do, pack up and head out, take two weeks.

 

I think he would be like the rest of us whom work outside.
