Round trip each week or one way each week?

MPG at speed should be one of your deciding factors. I hate to admit it but higher MPG is easier to attain with the newest gen engines.

With a 2k mile run a newer truck that gets 8 mpg will do it with 250 gallons, Older @6.5 MPG will need over 300 gallons. 50 gallons of fuel per trip is not an insignificant cost.

Tampa to Phoenix....I could meet you around GA...or arrange you to be met, with a sizeable bribe if you bring me Eegees. I mean I could say you could deliver to my sandbar, but it's a tad out of route.

The load to FL if it comes available as a full time thing like the broker is discussing is LAF, normally 8k in the van paying so fuel is actually normally better than even the 8mpg thay way. Coming back out it actually goes up to Denver, and then pretty heavy taking sodas down to Phoenix. Roughly a 2.5 week circle.

Fuel consumption has been my big item I'm looking at, followed by reliability/maintenance. I know people crap on them, but the Cascadia have been high on my list since I've had good luck with them even with the piss poor maintenance major fleets do. Seems like with better maintenance schedule they should do even better.

Our Dachshund is a purebred that was a gift to my wife as a pup in 2005. But if (my wife says it is when, not if ) we do get another dog, it will probably be an older dog needing a good home. There are too many healthy animals getting euthanized in this country.
