I agree with @Dave_in_AZ chain/sock to get it done and roll on.
Chain if you will need to run a distance.
Sock for a short distance like out of the yard/Truck stop or to a maintained road.
Not cheap but light weight, fast, and easy.

My wife just called.
Looks like a 6.6 earthquake on the walker lane fault that runs up through Death Valley and the 395lovesthedrive and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -

That type is way easier than my old McCullough chainsaw.

I’m dragging those logs from along the highway with my Jeep and all the gawkers are slowing and staring at me like I’m doing cpr on children next to an overturned school bus.
I guess they never seen anyone hook a chain to a log.
So I called our county dispatch to tell them what I was doing in case they got any calls. -

That's a pretty good one.lovesthedrive and otterinthewater Thank this.

I thought they got several like that every day.
I got one more BIG tree to pull, I’m gonna try it with the tractor first, it may take the Ford but I doubt the Jeep can budge this one.
But I have to wait because it looks like a thunderstorm is about to hit -
Dr. Lucy is saying it was a 6.2
It's weird how they measure them. Like a 6.6 is probably twice as powerful as a 6.2
I lived in Sacramento during Loma Prieta. That was like a 7. That almost knocked us on our butts at work, like 200 miles away.otterinthewater Thanks this. -
Maybe 30-35 in the 1.8 to 4.6 range today besides these.
Dave_in_AZ Thanks this.
