    Ok. All of New Mexico.

JCT 680 pulls in next to me with SCREAMING reefer unit.

    The OM is like, "Really?"

And I'm like," Look, I've been telling God I don't care what happens as long as you understand why I have to give you these shots. So we're going to have stuff like this happen."

My unload in Carson city hit a small snag (of course because I wanted over Donner early) the forklift blew a hydraulic hose. So got out of there later than I wanted to. Got home but wind and snow was picking up. Glad I was pulling my flatbed. Only reason I went was my direct customer is finally getting some business again but don't think I'll be able to get back over tomorrow or Thursday but is good to see commercial building picking up again

Crossing the Rockies rarely pays well.

That's why I would grab a short beer load to some mining town in the middle of a res in AZ and look to reload outa a 200 mile PHX radius (or say F! it and head for L.A.), Something toward a Boise reload, or up to MT -- and not book it till I found the escape load.

I've got a couple I'll try to get details on tomorrow. For now it's time to put on a youtube video and crash. I'm actually enjoying trucking more now, I might be a sadist.

    So.

    Got loaded at 1530.
Decided I’d take a shortcut.. save 50 miles, and be without snow.

    The road was dry.
Curve after curve, and who put a MOUNTAIN in the middle of no freaking where.
And what the heck was this rock ledge sticking right on the fog line and hung out over the road at what was supposed to be 13’10.. but my gps panicked and said “No Vertical Clearance” and just quit navigating for about 50 miles to be sure we was out of danger.

300 miles took 6 hours 27 minutes 59 seconds. what 46.5 mph average, I coulda been one of the ones kicking up snow in the faces of the scared at 65-70 but no.
That last 150 miles will have to wait.

There was a place, I can't even remember where, I think Ark Kansas, that had out croppings like that.

Back in my first year. I'm certain a road I wasn't supposed to be on. Drove on the wrong side of the road awhile.
Then a state boy passed me going the other way. Thought I was had for sure.
Then drove over a weight restricted bridge.
Then got back on the interstate.

Battle Mountain is often referred to as the arm pit of the west.

Wow. Dude just made fresh coffee and burritos.
About as good as it gets.

The OM is lobbying heavily for another can of Friskies.

12 minutes from main engine start.
