What if it Snows?

It decided to snow a good 4 inches overnight. It is still snowing a little bit but just flurries. So now we've got road salt everywhere that refroze overnight, and 4 inches of snow on top of all of it..... Great..

 

US 59 in Mo/AR near the line.
Tip, don’t take Missouri OO.
Even if empty.
Missouri H, through the town of Noel sucks too, 59 starts to suck around Noel, gets a little better after an hour or so.
Might be better in daylight conditions, but I doubt it.

 

House boss seems to have made a full recovery and he weighs 14 lbs.

Hope it's not the same gal now who was enticing us drivers in the mid 70s.

I was in my car driving to work in Baltimore one fine early morning. Kind of cold out.

I see three young ladies huddled together on the street corner, thumbing for a ride. As I said, it was cold, and they were not properly dressed for the weather.

I pull up to them.

"Hey, where are ya going?" I say.

"Where are YOU going?"

"Up off of Patapsco to work. If it's not too far, I can give y'all a lift."

"What do you WANT?" she says, with a bit of attitude.

"What do I want? YOU'RE the one thumbing for a ride."

We lock eyes, no one speaks.

Finally, as we used to say back east, "Dawn breaks over Marblehead".

"You're not REALLY hitchhiking, are you?"

She smiles. "No, hon, we're not."

I smile. "I'm a moron".

She cracks up laughing, gives the door two slaps and gives me a wave, and off I go.

 

Time to go. Really not feelin' it, but the sooner I git, the sooner I stop.

 

Really would like to get another load over to Carson city today, then I look at the road cams and forecast and eh not feeling it.
