What if it Snows?

Let me add this: all things being equal, the temperature drops 3°F for every 1000' elevation gain, or another way to put it every 1000' elevation gain is about equal to traveling 500 miles north.

If the temperature hits 70°F in Seattle the summit of Mt. Rainer is about 28°F. That's how you get glaciers up to 300' thick. I've tied two 165' climbing ropes together to rappel into crevasses, with bare rubble at the bottom. I had less than 10' of rope at the bottom. Then it was a good workout to climb the wall of the crevasse with an ice axe and ice hammer.

 

Right now I’m installing doorknobs on the doors in the basement.

 

Time to go find some fig leaves. You might need to do some searching for itty bitty fig leaves for OM.

Im going to call a Storm warning for Arkansas tonight. All that wet and hot has finally fed a system that is being built above me statewide. I can hear it already 3 counties away distant artillery.

This one when it moves through the night will come down to Georgia if they think will go to sea and sit and make a tropical storm as was done back in 2008.

In the meantime I rejoice in the rain and storm. About time this heat needs gone.
