Has anyone out here used a program to try and learn a 2nd language while on the road? Thinking it'd be good to use along with my music, podcasts, and audio books.

The folks got mom's recent car and traded in her PT Cruiser at Ford they had recently moved and lost the clicker, so after trade in they(Dad) still had one. They were directly across the street and the salesmen use the "PANIC" button to find the cars, as long as that car was on their lot and he was home he'd hear it and hit the PT's panic button! It was quite fun to watch.;) They would get about the same look as somebody saying "dude where's my car?"

A laptop may be on my list of, uh, upcoming business expenses. Until then I'm stealing my wife's tablet so I have something to nerd with while I'm out on the road.

You should see I-80 in IA today.
Littered with cars and big rigs that could not stand the thought of shutting down for a storm.

Dozens between the IL line and Brooklyn, where I'm at tonight.

That's usually the worst stretch for the icy ####... West of Des Moines its windier and snowier, usually.

    Thus is getting alittle ridiculous...

Just before dark I went and looked at all the road cams and weather sensors... Other than a few miles of dense fog it wasnt very bad... It did look slick, but passable. WYDOT should have set the speed at 45 and put a couple troopers up there and about 8 plows laying down sand.

Setting the speed at 45 won't do a darn thing. People will still be going 70 until they wipe out.
    Trucks included.

The absolute best way to learn a new language is to sleep with your dictionary......

Find a suitable, desirable person who has your target language as their first language, and there you go!
