OK. I've gotten The OM to intervene and The Flying J song is back into full force.

Except Opus's Flying J song privileges have been suspended.

At this point in the game I would creep at 20 mph all the way to Rawlins... Just to get moving.

When they had it at 25 .......45 was easily doable. And that was before they went off the deep end with closures.

In fact another time when they had it at 25, I was going wow I'm surprised they have it open, visibility was really bad. That was night too.

I'm bout half tempted to head out US30 and unplug my pigtail outside Laramie and run incognito in the dark through the closure... I could have been home enjoying family and beer for nearly 24 hours by now... I really wish I would have just crept around Elk on US30 nice and slow while it was still open.

Just too many inexperienced drivers. Think two, maybe three years ago, made it up the sisters, then literally slid, fishtailed to a degree, the last two miles to the Ft Bridger off ramp at the TA.

I was giggling a bit, going just wow.

A dude left right behind me as I was done fueling and I backed out of the fuel island and got his spot.

Was like -15. Like 30 seconds later.....CRASH. Just west of the off the ramp.

Then like 4 plows got after it lol.

This is exactly why WY closes 80 over the drop of a hat.... Too many idiots have screwed up, and companies keep sending these inexperienced drivers out on the road with next to ZERO training for the type of conditions WY winter provides.
