Those displaced Texans are moving to Utah. Have seen more TX license plates in the state lately.

 

Wife and I are still in discussion about where to move. I think temporarily it will be Waco (south of Ft. Worth), mainly due to it still being a liveable area and close to freight lanes. Missouri, and Eastern Oklahoma are possibilities.

 

And you won't find King Mackerel in the Pacific.

There's probably darn good fishing in both places although I've only been on a San Diego charter once. Didn't catch a thing.

 

When I bought my house this past fall my Realtor felt it necessary that we knew that she sold alot of house to Californians in the area before she would work with us...

I said "Perfect, I want you to find me a house I can buy so I can do my part in making harder for at least one Californian trying to move here"

 

I grew up in Amador County, outside of Plymouth.

 

Well... I managed to escape the winter wonderland know as Why-O-Ming, did a quick drop & hook in Utard... Only for my home state of Idaho to try and kill me!!! Beware the winds on I-15 through Idaho are of Why-O-Ming caliber tonight... I havent seen wind like this, in this location in a VERY long time. No I didnt get blowed over... But I did #### near take a ride through the ditch, and I'm pretty sure my trailer side swiped at least 2 reflector posts into the scrap heap.
