    Which reminds me I need to dig through the garage for a pocket latch set for the bathroom.

    I only have one interior door in the studio. So I'm going vintage. ( in all honesty the door I used was in a storage locker I purchased as were boxes of latch-sets of all kinds - and I'm a cheap bastage) Latch I'm looking for was in a shed that had fallen down on the property.

    Here’s a knob I installed “Schlage” to the closet in my unfinished basement.

    Ive set more doors and latches in my day than I care to remember... My dad is a contractor that builds houses for a living. He is especially good at finish work so he would take me with him to help with doors and latches while he did the more detailed stuff.

    I hate doors and latches!

    We used hospital style lever type knobs. So much easier to open if your arms are full with groceries and such.
