What if it Snows?

Started the day in Hermiston, OR, ran through Portland, up to Tumwater, then up to Tacoma, and made it across Snoqualmie. I'm WHOOPED.

Stopped in Cle Elum had a decent cut of Prime Rib, 2 well earned adult beverages, and going to put and end to this hellscape of a day.

 

Looks like the wife will be snowed in for a day or 2. Expecting 6 to 8 more inches of snow overnight.

I'm hanging out down in the Silly-Con for the weekend. Trying to get this project wrapped up and sold.

 

Its so Gosh Dang cold that even with 2/3 of my radiator covered by cardboard I cant build heat in the cab while traveling down the road... I checked my thermometer that I have in the sleeper and it said the temp was 45°. The DEF pumps at th Pilot in Brooklyn, IA are frozen.... And my mustache and beard started forming icicles from my breath just in the time it took to top off my fuel tanks.

80 through IA is ok for now... It's cold enough that its not gotten slick so traction isnt a problem, but the wind is blowing the snow pretty good... And it is actively snowing. Once the sun comes up and more traffic gets out I think the roads will get slick.

 

Oh Yeah... 80, 294, and 94 through Chicago Land was like a skating rink late last night... Anyone headed through there best mind thier P's &Q's... And keep an eye peeled for those that don't.
