We are currently waiting at Freightsnaker for a part. The OM is not pleased.

I seem to be slowly replacing every air fitting on Blackie.

I contend that SAE certified engineering is still not good enough for big trucks.

May be good enough to get a Toyota to 300k miles but not good enough for a class 8.

8 days and 3000 miles, we’re back home. Just in time to shovel snow. 20 degrees here, low 10 tonight. Tomorrow high of 17. Load delivers Monday after 4:00 pm. It’s going to be a cold start tomorrow, probably fire right up. Trucks running good. Ran all the way up Jellico at 40 mph. with 43k. Turbo boost at 35psi. Lexington Ky was froze over still from Wednesday’s snow and freezing tain. Roads were clear all the way from Charlotte NC. Wife’s Birthday today. We had Waffle House in Lexington Ky. right after midnight this morning. What more could a woman want? More snow Monday. Shovel it and leave Tuesday, maybe Wednesday. Too cold for Me!! May showers bring June flowers here.
