Where is/was it that a steam locomotive idled on the east side, double headed the next WB freight up the hump, and helped brake him down to the flat.
Then side tracked and idled till an EB showed up and then double headed him back up and over. Anybody know or remember? Piece work at its best.

 

It's was -4'F, two mornings ago. It's 15 now , I'm fine with it no wind.

 

So ran into some white out conditions west of San Antonio this morning. I did have to pull over twice to de-ice the wipers. Made it safely and parked for the night.

I'd go 44. My buddy just came in from baton rouge to Laredo. Said ALL the restrooms were closed on I-10. Even at the truck stops.

Most truck drivers just use the parking lot and highway shoulder as their bathroom so this should not be a big deal
