    Had a surprise today. My oldest stepdaughter and my wife had been texting back and forth (I know, why not just call and talk?). Last text said that her water had broke and they were on the way to the hospital. Surprise because she wasn't due for another 4 weeks. But everything went great and we now have another grandson. 8 lb 12 oz, not bad for 4 weeks early. The only extra care is a nasal cannula for O2.
    I foresee another trip to Phoenix coming up sometime in the near future.

    Needing to turn 750 miles tomorrow across WY, MT, and ID; otherwise I come up even shorter for my last march into Seattle.. There's not alot of options on 90 in Idaho.

    Congrats. We just had our second as well. We're giving our daughter and SIL a break this weekend so they can have a "personal" weekend. Eight year old girls can wear you out.

    Just spent 5 days in Abilene enjoying the weather and 3rd world ambiance of no water or power. Kept my mouth shut about my former occupation and hightailed it out as soon as I got the truck out of the shop. Good side note is that I now have to wait till Tuesday to deliver so I get a couple days home on the way to WV.
