No chaining in Texas today. It's a beautiful day to sit in the shop and wait on a part.
@Espressolane, found out the hard way what was wrong.......bad leveling valve.

But, the good news is that I'll be able to make my delivery on time, and there's a good chance they won't cancel my ride home because ill be a day late picking it up.
But, like I said, its a beautiful morning in Texas. Just gotta appreciate the good things sometimes.

So these Mexicans in Day Cabs are beeping their horns at others trying to get into the Gates. I woke up to that. Now, every time they beep, I lay on the horn. Might as well add to the Chaos. All the American Drivers are foreigners, though most are from Michigan. YRCRoadway is the only remnant of the past I recognize. We smile at each other, as he passes by. Both shaking our heads, in a modern day secret handshake kind of way.

Looks like I'll be bobtailing in the morning. After my reset. No empty trailers up here and they need mine. So another driver is coming to grab it.

Yes. Cpm regardless. They know where the trailers are at. So they'll just deadhead me to an empty. Then just add the extra miles to my pay.

    Oh bo
Oh boy, the old take the new Guys Trailer, he won’t complain game. I once was stuck in Atlanta an my megas terminal. No trailers. I bob tailed to a local Shipper, told the Guard they sent Me for an empty. Went back to the Terminal, ready for Dispatch. They were mad at Me. Where did you get that Trailer? Who told you to do that? Bla bla bla!! Drop it on the yard, You need a Truck inspection. In the Garage, they come in and say, You’re not allowed to put kingpin locks on trailers in the yard. Ha ha, I wasn’t very welcome there. Luckily my dedicated run settled their strike. I bob tailed all the way to Detroit. Got to watch those Dispatchers, they have their favorites. Any problems, go over their heads. Their Jobs usually depend on Driver retention. Too many Drivers lost, Dispatch pays. Some are under the impression their your Boss. You have to break them in right. Lol. That’s what I’ve always heard anyways. Big Talk!!! Then it’s Yes Sir, whatever you say Sir. Lol
