Wife’s got the sleeper all straightened up. She says I better not complain anymore about her bringing too many clothes. Apparently I have more than she does. Lol. I don’t know. Can’t keep track, just grab a few things as I head out. 1 or 2 filled Walmart bags usually. She’s much more organized. She’s got bags to put her bags in. Lol. I’m using the same Black Patch Leather shower bag I’ve had for 25 yrs. Bought it at a yard sale for $1. It was brand new, has some Las Vegas Casinos name on it. Oh well, guess it’s time to clean my windows. Have a safe evening, wherever you are everyone. I think I’ve had too much coffee.

I guess that's one benefit I have working for a mega. I never have to do a live load in laredo. We've got a drop yard there. Literally have trailers waiting to get picked up. Last time I was there. They had loaded trailers double stacked. I had to get a yard jockey to move the trailer that was in the way.

Heading down to Chino in the morning. For a coke load going to Denver. Is 15 and 70 the best route?

That's the best way, depending on weather.

You will be running heavy with a coke load. Eisenhower is a good test any time of year.

It's steep going up it so don't overheat the truck, yes even in the middle of winter......

And coming down the mountain don't smoke the brakes, Drop speed and start dropping gears before you crest the hills. If it's too icy for Jakes it is time to park.
