What if it Snows?

Yeah they closed 1 store in town a few months ago. Will be stocking uo before the last 1 here closes

 

Over a decade ago the big box stores were warning of this, it just wasn't by an act on American Idol or some other reality show. In other news I am finally being loaded, not liking this start to my week.

 

According to Ch3 news......cough cough cough.....it closed last night. No inventory selloff...just shut the doors.

 

A quiet day in the woodshop/garage....have 23 cabinet doors to assemble and 50 hinges to install....electrician comes today to rewire house from 30 amp to 50 amp so we can use our $900.00 range been sitting idle since Dec13......COVID....pfffft!!!

 

Hoping they were wrong on that. I'm off to Utah for a few days I'll shoot by the one in Roseville on the way out to check it out

 

I imagine it took employees be surprise here in Seattle. I went into Frys by where I delivered and they were pretty well stocked.

 

Radio shack, fry’s and and a few other stores of that type closing is really a shame. Spent many hours in them. Built a lot of heathkit, dynaco/dynakit and a bunch of other products purchased from places like that. Kids today will never know the joy of going into one of these stores and getting the pieces/parts to build a box top crystal radio.

 

Why would they care to? Nothing on the radio worth listening to, more commercials than television, and canned personalities that don't fit your area. There's many things we look back on with the rose colored glasses of nostalgia, that in today's world even an interested mind would have no practical reason to do.

 

Staying busy. Get home, update us on the baby.

 

Agree. There are too many "accepting" minds, not enough "inquiring" minds.
The concepts we had; of WHY, are or have passed away.
