I've found the Socks can be o.k. to get you out of the truck stop or off the reservation property. Longest I ever ran them was a couple of miles, just enough to get out of an urban tribal area that was not going to be plowed.

They have their uses, running down the road is not one of them.

MPG has dropped to 8.1 but considering the 4000 mph crosswind in Arizona, and getting over The Continental Divide thingy, The OM is pleased. :cat:

Joe 379 high idle pipe hauler has found the spot next to us.

This fulfills one of our many trucking fantasies.

Just got parked in Independence, Commiefornia. Deliver in Escondido tomorrow and then with any luck haul to GA Saturday morning. Do all of us parked at the dispensary get a drug test before we roll tomorrow?

We had those roll up doors on a couple rescue trucks in the FD. Biggest problem was sand jamming them up, we had to keep them clean constantly.

Meanwhile in Canada. A farmer caught a lynx and is carrying it around to shame it for killing his chickens.

It's not a rumor no more. Send out a notice yesterday about it.
