You are right, it was not katrina, the one I was thinking of was Rita.Hit very close o Texas/Louisiana border. Lots of wind, flooding and tornadoes out of that storm.

I hit a real bad pot hole. My right steer vibrates at certain speeds. I'm think it needs to be need balanced. Nooooo. It split. I looked for a dent in the rim. Bulges on the side wall. Not super close at the tread. So now a set a steers gets put on. It's a michellin shop not a Bridgestone like I normally use. Im really glad it didn't blow.

 

That image right there is a good explanation for why I would not move to within a hundred miles of the SE coast.

I'm confident an equally intimidating image could be generated for the west coast for fires and earthquakes but I'm comfortable dealing with those.
