Something is off about the picture. The rollers are too clean. Smells like some kind of setup. Maybe the employees got bored and want to see if anyone will buy them.

 

I may just be a steering wheel holder, but even I know that if those doggies had been turning there for hours, the part of the rollers where they sit would be brown.

I am starting to wonder abouts your bona fides.

I don't know if anyone on this thread has a 7-11 convenience store around. Man, they had these cheeseburger burger big bites roller dogs that were delicious. Loved those things.
I can only guess roller grills are going the way of pay phones. Pretty nasty when you think of it.
