I used to work in a gypsum plant loading trucks. Was walking by the front of a truck when he hit his air starter. Had to go change my pants.

The Russians used it in WW2 for the t34. Last I heard it being required was for tankers going into refineries. Guys at a loading rank were talking about it while I delivered rust inhibitor. Otherwise i would thought it was only russia.

Back in the day I had the opportunity to work on a 16 cylinder Waukesha diesel powered generator. The injectors were almost the size of a 2L Coke bottle. I have a nasty habit of not wearing ear protection when I'm around noisy equipment. Those air starters went clean through my ear muffs. AWESOME sound!

On a side note, Obama made a rather famous speech at the Waukesha plant about increasing the minimum wage to $10. Not long after that, GE shut down the plant and moved operations to Canada. Coincidence?

I have just been informed by the staff of Dunkin Donuts at the Junius Ponds S/P on the NY Thruway, that the Brownie Batter donuts have been discontinued.

    I am not pleased.

The staff at DD is not pleased.

The new donut is a "matcha" donut......

    A. TEA. FLAVORED. DONUT.

No wonder the flag is at half mast......

I wish they had a gluten free soy based donut baked in the California sun wrapped in Kale.
