    Fishing gear? I get too bored fishing, haven't gone fishing since elementary school.

    But you are right on the people spend a crap tonne of money on overpriced gear just like the motorcycle people.

    Once I get a clean and appropriate spot for it I'll probably go look for something along the lines of these.

    Or potentially something newer with cosmetic issues and do a full custom fab on it, Cue the purchase agreement for english wheel and other tin shaping tools.

    I do occasionally fish(drown worms) problem is I'm not all that good at it, so I get bored, then I run out of beer and the wife has to drive home. Lol usually with some fish she caught and makes up a good supper.

    Funny thing is I can hunt all day long, muddy boots hunting and never get bored.

    I've done a ton of saltwater fishing with my dad and if we weren't catching fish within 5 minutes we were moving to another spot as we were usually 30-40 miles out in the Gulf bottom fishing.

    Spear fishing ruined diving for me, too boring if I'm not hunting down there nowadays .
