In the oil field I had a small thermos for milk. I had a Nissan one for coffee. I would boil some water to pre heat the thermos. The milk thermos would be in the freezer. Make a pot, fill Nissan up and milk n sugar in the little one.

If you mix the milk, sugar and the coffee together it gets gamish after like 10 hours. But in the little thermos milk and sugar never started to rot or spoil. The bad smell, which made cleaning longer, caused me to do two thermoses.

Today milk in the mini fridge, sugar in tuparware container, coffee from $20 dollar walmart keurig, coffee in Orca cup. Orca cup washed irregularly.

You do it with style of course....Thermos makes matching travel mugs that are equally heat retentive as the Thermos ....{if the brand is "Thermos" and the item is called a "thermos",would it be called the Thermos thermos?} ... I digress, take both mug and bottle in to the coffee fillin place, put condiments in both bottle and mug then add the hot coffee to capacity. This way,you have hot coffee in both right from the git!
Granted the matching mug is a bit pricy, but the heat retention was worth it to me. 2 hours later, the coffee in the mug was still hot, and the next morning the bottle coffee was still over-warm.

Since we know Dave is so politicly in touch....here's a deal on Amazon to get blue and red so depending on which state or local he is traversing....he could be politically correct for the zone....

I have several of those from various places including Landstar.

Is that what those are for?
