I’m sitting in Bulls Gap Tn. Got a last minute load in Mobile last night. They wanted it today. Worked out better than the last 2 loads that Knight/Swift wasted my time with. I know better. All I asked was if we were all set up and good now in their system. Took 15 minutes to confirm that. Meanwhile they booked the Load with someone else. Hung out to dry twice. Lol. Wed night and Thurs afternoon. Always a roller coaster ride. No need to panic, usually works out better anyways. Almost got a load out of here today. No sweat. Need a day off tomorrow anyways. Always another Load to haul.

Got a carry out dinner last night at Juicy Seafood in Mobile. It’s a franchise all over the southeast. The place was packed. Real Super spreader event. I believe everyone had been Stimulated. Putting their checks to good use. We had Dungeness Crab Legs, Shrimp and Crawfish, boiled red potatoes and corn on the cob . First real dinner all week. Today I found the best fried bologna. 3 people had mentioned it, while getting fuel. Sure enough, wasn’t your average baloney. Big thick $2 sandwich. Famous baloney sandwiches from the local gas station. Ha! Gotta love it.

It's time for me to go home. Dealt with some jackwagon on 80 today who was running 72ish. Each time I went to pass he'd keep bumping speed just enough to keep me abandoned in the left lane. I backed out of it and let him get distance, then he'd do the same game again. Fortunately he didn't stop where I did for my fuel/30 minute break. Plenty of stupid things were going through my head of how to assist karma with handling him.

Decided to play with my calculator. In the last 6 weeks, I averaged 2563 miles a week. 2385 Loaded and 178 Deadhead. Less than 7%. Had 1 reload at the same place I delivered. Only 2nd time in 16 yrs that’s happened. Total of 20 Loads. Average Trip - 769 miles. Average deadhead - 54 miles.

Looks like there's another storm coming to attack the WHY-OH-MING.

Some, some, some dude has a big load going up there, but The OM and I can't want to go flop in the tundra.

It was calm across Elk, supposedly 50mph gusts at the time I did it, which might account for that 8.4 I had earlier in the day.
