Looks like it’s going to be Char broil. Last time I bought a grill, it was 20+ hrs ago, with coupons from Home Depot. Spend $1000, get $100 coupon. Got a Charbroil for free. Looked great, but didn’t cook well. They’re much nicer now. SS burners. SS cabinet, about $300. So I guess the $1000 Weber will have to wait. Like Lawnmowers these days, rather use it abuse it and toss it out when it breaks. I don’t have time to maintain things like I should. So Charbroil for the win. Pics when the steaks are cooking.
What if it Snows?

Been looking for a new grill for a while. The accounting department won’t let me spend $8000.00 for a grill.

this one is at Tractor Supply, very reasonable. Has lots of good reviews and in your range. https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/p...ainless-steel-gas-grill-with-window-gas1566as

Menards has Broil King. These are good grills but hard to find. Not sure what other stores you may have around you, worth a look. Broil king tends to be at non-mega stores. This one is a bit outside the price range your looking for, it is worth it. I have the non-stainless model of this. Nothing wrong with it, cooks great, even at 12 years old. https://www.menards.com/main/outdoo...0387142867.htm?tid=7607913372139085216&ipos=4InTooDeep, Rideandrepair, Dave_in_AZ and 4 others Thank this.

We have a big Weber kettle type that we only use when we have company. Otherwise that little Smokey Joe is perfect for the two of us. Keep thinking about getting a gas grill for convenience but the wife like the ones we have. Of course, I'm the one that does all the cooking a cleaning. And we grill 3 or 4 times a week from now until late fall.
I picked up a load some years back at the Char-Broil plant in Columbus, Ga. They had a grill going cooking burgers right outside the shipping door, and gave all the drivers burgers. Was pretty cool.homeskillet, InTooDeep, Rideandrepair and 9 others Thank this.

We grill in the winter. Just not near as much. Don't mind grilling in when it rains but when it get cold and windy, she can cook it inside. Cowboyrich, homeskillet, InTooDeep and 6 others Thank this.
