I always thought they used one color for the year and removed different ears for diff quarters. I don't know, "I could have thought long and thought wrong"

My late wife's older sister dropped out of school (in 1950) to work as a waitress so my wife and her younger sister could continue on in school. Consequently, my wife always had a soft heart for any waitress. Many times, I got the dead eye on the amount of tip I would add. I would then quietly ask: "Then just how much . Mrs Astor? I would then add it on.
Wife passed away in 2011. Way before that she had changed her mind on what service deserved any tip. I appreciate attention and service. I now do not pay for unworthy service. An occasion: In Legals Seafood, Boston. sat, ordered, sweet tea to drink and water was provided. I was never able to catch that waiter re filling my water glass. Smooth. that the kind of service appreciate

The top bunk has been removed and a shelf now takes its place. GOBS of room but it looks messy. Need to experiment with a curtain or something but I don't want that to make the sleeper look too small. More investigation required.

I always thought the color of stickers changed every quarter. Also been told I shouldn’t get inspected for at least 90 days, but leave it on for a year. For the most benefit. Last 2 inspections passed, I ask for my sticker, they say sorry were all out. WTF? I even asked if I could get one at the next scale. Nope! Doesn’t work that way. What a bunch of BS. Only been DOTd twice since my wife’s been with me. Sometimes I wake her up, come on good luck charm, get in the jump seat!
