Yesterday when I went for parts at Freightliner of Arizona for The Criminally Insane........I was paying, the cashier is a woman? sitting in this booth and is covered with tattoos from her cuticles to her chin, a bit heavy.

Dude walks up, no tattoos, regular looking middle aged guy and asks to borrow a pen.

She looks at him like he has two heads, and the ration of #### begins. " That's a pencil not a pen."

Dude is like," Well can I use the pencil? I really need to write this down." ( he's getting some info on his phone )

So she flips the pencil at him in disgust through the slot, and turns and goes to her printer.

Me and dude look at each other in the " JUST F WOW " agreement.

He's like," What did I do to deserve that kind of attitude?"

I didn't say anything. Took my parts, and left the insanity behind me. Hopefully she got a JJ shot yesterday afternoon.

It's cool if you're a dildo that can't think for himself.

I’m guessing he ran 84k. Any takers. Prize is one family food recipe.

For two years I worked on the farm tractor. I had kept the alternator bolt where I could find it. Then when I did the start vid I removed the alternator to install the power steering lines that attach underneath the alternator. I set that 3/8x3" bolt some where and couldnt find it. For the last 4 weeks I searched and could not find the bolt. I said ef it yesterday and bought a new one. Nope haven found the old one yet. Tho the alternator no longer issue. sigh

Next is to install the hood and coolant. Then fix the floppy fenders, reattach the seat (any tractor I own the seat is rebolted so my 6'2" frame isnt cramped in a fetal position) and fix the wiring.

That's probably pretty close. I'd guess 87K to 90K. I realize we have experts that know everything about Landstar for whatever reason, and moreover what my cost of fuel was per gallon, I mean there was a several month stretch when it was like $1.70, which is close to $3, I don't think I've paid that much in over a year, but anyway. I guess if you figure in the extra IFTA tax it would actually be $29,796.60

    I figured 3.40 per gallon, 7.5 mpg.

Well, my early AM load got cancelled, which I didn't find out about until I got to the terminal, because my text msg notifications got turn off by some fat-fingered knucklehead.

My run to the beer plant has been changed to a Winston-Salem NC run.

    Waffle House now......

7C66A9A3-DD63-46EC-AA2A-99632B1F4F3E.jpeg No more cast iron, lasting 50 yrs. All plastic, same as the competition. Replaced mine a few yrs back, with a cheaper plastic Barracuda pump, planned on getting the “good” one later. Too Late. Another Legendary American made product bites the dust. Now I definitely need a back up pump.

Yup we had a barracuda as well. Money came around and bought another Zolleler pump. Now the barracuda is on standby. It took us 15 years to seize the last Zolleler pump

D5F12974-83C6-43E2-B1AB-5A2801E37F61.jpeg Here’s a deal, I don’t think I can pass up. 20v drill, 20v impact driver, 2 batteries for $200. A few bits included. Plus one of the five choices for free. Even if the free one doesn’t have a battery, still a great deal. I’ve never been able to afford a Dewalt anything. Lol. My current set of Power Tools are all cheap, just good enough for this last remodel. My Uncle swears by the impact driver for doing sub flooring and decks. Now which of the 5 to pick? Multi tool, or Orbit sander. I have corded saws and grinders. I see they’re motive here. Trying to tempt me to buy all of them for another $520. I’m not falling for that one. Really need a good drill though.
