    FYI:

    The TA in Barstow had a fuel leak and they’ve sold out the remaining fuel. I have no idea when they’ll be pumping again.

    That Titanic. Really bad all around.
    The Mexican people love mayonnaise and it had run short in Vera Cruz. A large order was placed and shipped expedite on the Titanic. Sadly it sunk.
    Order was lost and people in Vera Cruz were heart broken. Terrible times.
    So terrible they decided to set aside a day to commemorate the loss.
    They celebrate it every May 5th, holiday is known as Cinco De Mayo.

    Back when I was in grade school, they taught US Geography.

    The Mid-Atlantic states are NY, PA, NJ, MD, DE, VA, WV.

    OH is the easternmost state in the Midwest.

    IA is one of the Plain States.

    Oops......"PLAINS States". Sorry. Typo.


    Of course, back then the whole class stood and said the Pledge Of Allegiance, loud and proud.

    And there were no hyphens. We were all "Americans".

    At the end of the day, we could all agree on that. Not like now.

    And on a lighter note, Ohio pork is very good, but yes.......Iowa pork is frixken AWESOME!!!

    Leave FL and you can pretty well determine your location by the porkchops. Fl, thin, small, breakfast size. MO, some bigger and more tasty, hit Clear Lake, IA and big, thick, makes you grunt to chew on.

    Southbound I-71 at x175 in O-HI-O.....

    Cb reports I-71 closed due to bridge strike by raised dump trailer.

    I'm taking an 8 at the TA in Seville/Lodi, then get back on it.

    So I can clear my gear outta the truck and get ready for Vay-Cay. Can't wait!
