We are awake. The OM is on the fence about starting this early though due to greatly increased activity of large creatures standing in the roadways and feeding next to said roadways.

The OM is now using a Tabby mind trick implanting visions of large amounts of homemade breakfast foods in my head.

When I was with CR England. The instructors during orientation declared that people whom have been doing freeway speeds all day are used to that speed. They dont realize they are speeding when they come to the parking lot. They have become mezmerized with the speed. Get them to park and they too will complain about the speeders. Tho CR England (when we had manuals in the trucks) said we had to get in the habit of no faster than first gear.

The waffle house I went to in Crashville was a rectangular structure. Basically a truckstop of the 1970's. Everyone sat at stools. A long counter with the server on the other side.

As to Dave's notion of running a waffle house? It would be easier to take over a closed Denny's and refurbish the building. Most of the grunt work is done. What ever city would probably give you some form of tax credit to reopen the defunct location. Grin, even in Ellsworth Maine there is a prime location on High Street just waiting for the conversion.

Now the meme of the day.

The Love's on 40 in Holbrook at this moment is the largest fuster cluck in the history of over the road trucking.

Looks like Prime fell asleep and hit one of the columns of the BIG freeway signs. MM250

Well 295.6 miles in we had to stop for an emergency bowl of honey nut cheerios and an apple. And the remainder of The Blue Wilderness can.

I feel like my thoughts are not my own.
