Those two have very similar faces and markings. Definitely could be from the same bloodline.

The OM and her siblings all were very big. All had very long legs.

Oh yes... This guy does this for a living, not just a side gig like the guy last year.

Heard him slowing down a mile away...

Had to extend a few stringers on thevone end of the stack (seen in last 2 pics). After I move what I had left over from last year onto them I will trim the ends off so they arent sticking up.

How many cords do you estimate from that stack? And do you mind sharing cost?

I'd estimate 17 to 21 cord... And it was almost all "dead standing timber" at time of harvesting, so its ready to burn... Except bucking and splitting obviously.

Obviously price varies for alot of reasons. But I paid $2200 for the wood (thats including delivery,) and I gave him an extra $50 because he was very good, and professional.

Assuming it's mostly, or all hardwood, that's one sweet deal.

It's Lodge Pole Pine... We dont have hardwood around this part of the country. Around here Douglas Fir is the preferred firewood, but its hard to come by and usually more expensive. Lodge Pole is the next best thing, and it's mainly what I have been burning for the last 7 years.

And yes it is a good price... I paid nearly half that much last year for 4 cord.
