What if it Snows?

Schneider used to have a really bad trailer pool........now pretty good. But, one of the things that always seemed to go bad was the hanger for the air lines. I dragged air lines a couple of time and had to wait for repairs.
Then also, I had people pull my tandem release bar (twice).......nothing like going 65 and hitting the brakes and having 40,000 lbs slam to the rear of the trailer on 285 in Atlanta.
Therefore, going forward, my cursory pretrip includes, "gear up, pin in".

It's just stuff you pick up a little and along.

 

I'm anal about my pretrips, including sticking my tires daily. Doesn't mean I won't/can't overlook something especially since I have the same equipment until I turn it in and it's easy to become complacent, I'm also the guy who walks around the truck checking everything even if I only went in long enough to hit the can and wash my hands after fueling. I've seen too many truckstop clowns who think trash like that is humorous, and was nearly the victim of a pulled 5th wheel back a few months ago. Right now I'm just waiting for a comcheck approval so I can leave a distribution center in record time.

Just a random, was at a TA Express in East Texas. Walked out to the fuel pump because I'd gone inside to pay (card reader error) when I came out latch had been pulled. One of those situations of "I am pretty sure I know who did it, but could never prove it."

 

This is why I only dated 1 latina.

 

Personally I would think you would keep a handful of these on hand. @ $7 ea you could repair the hose on the spot in 5 minutes
