Made it to my receiver 2 hours late on a load I got 9 hours late. Saw some nice scenery coming across 20/97/58, but I wouldn't recommend the route to a beginner. It's not as bad as some "drivers" on the forum make it seem, but there's a few spots that will sneak up on you.

 

I was just on it last week, getting my internal organs shaken, not stirred.

If they just fixed it, Michigan taxpayers need to get their money back from MDOT.

 

Well waiting on a callback on a load that will have me busy for the week if it comes through.

So much so, that I can't believe how often I end up back in one of these seats.......

Tell the lead journeyman and lead laborer, "Keep your guys busy, I gotta check another job", then head back down to the bar for the beef tips lunch special and a couple (more) brews....

 

The receiver told me product tank is too full, gonna be 45 to an hour before we can even CONSIDER unloading.

But she DID bring some samples out......this place makes granola bars for Costco and Sam's Club, among other snack items.

 

That's what I'll be hauling if this plays out right.
