Best thing to do is have it tested. Maybe have the bottled water tested also. Well water might be better. Biggest problem is fertilizer from the Lawn Maniacs. I’ve heard Lawns are rare in AZ. The well I had was 100 ft. deep, through a lot of rock and sand. It was almost pure. Less fertilizer ppm than the Local city water had. It did have a lot of iron and calcium. Had to get a softener. PITA always adding salt. Should have bought one that doesn’t use salt. Smart Water, I think it’s called. Sold at Sears. I think the hard water gave my Wife Kidney stones. No way to know for sure. Just my theory. Makes Me suspect of the water at any Truckstop or Restaurant anywhere.
What if it Snows?

Attachment 371961 is a rockin piece of luxury. Drove one of them back when. 400 Cat,13 double over, 333 gears. She would get over the road. Straight pipes chromed all over. Guy who owned the Truck had paid cash for it at the time. I think He told me He paid hundred thousand. Can. dollars for it. Met the Salesman who did the deal, told me over Dinner one evening that was the first time He ever sold a Truck that the Driver counted Him out the cash.

My Mom lived near Hammond La. They had an Artesian Well, whatever that is. Spring fed maybe. Just north of there, is Kentwood Water, and Anita Springs Water. Both big Bottled water Companies. Anyway, I’ll say they have very soft water. Soap Lathers up great. Best Shower in Louisiana. Same with the Blue Beacon in Hammond. Best Wash, no streaks. Good soft water. They used to claim New Orleans had good drinking water, due to the extensive treatment it gets. Coming from the end of the Mississippi River. It has to be treated a lot. Not sure I believe that one anymore. They have so many chemicals down there. No telling what all’s in the water. Though the swamps seem to filter absorb a lot of it. Lots of Cancer down there. Same up here. We grew up in the shadow of Industry. No telling what fill dirt my neighborhood in Detroit was filled with. Used to be a swamp, around 1900, hunting Land I’ve been told.
