A person would be better off rebuilding it and selling it back to the railroad, instead of 2 grand probably 250 grand profit

    dwells40 and Lepton1 Thank this.

I've been running through Arizona and parts east in some hot temperatures lately. Today I made it from El Paso to Thousand Oaks, CA. Temperatures started building over 100°F around Phoenix, so I dialed it down below 65 mph to preserve my tires.

I counted three drivers that were going gung ho supertrucker to pass me after Phoenix, as the temperature climbed to 116°F, with blown out tires waiting on the side of the road. Are THEY saving any time today, waiting for road service?

My daddy always told me, "Physics always wins".

    Smart dad.

Slow it down a tad when temperatures start cooking your rubber.

The recipe for two loaves of zucchini bread calls for a cup of vegetable oil but instead I put in a cup of applesauce... and you cannot tell the difference.

Something is wrong. I've driven over 3000 miles in the last 8 days.

I have been averaging well under 2000 miles a week. I think dispatch has it out for me.

Do you have any form of gainful employment?
    No judgment, just curious.

    Is this good or bad?
What did you do to the dispatch people.
Maybe you need to get some of the brownies and cookies from Dave.

Wonder what's worse drinking on the job or paper logs?

Asking for a guy I wouldn't walk across the street to piss on if he was on fire
