So wife and I are planning our perfect vacation for this year. She is going to Maui with our daughter and our son and I are heading to Alaska to visit some friends to some hunting and fishing. I think the boy and I won this one

I almost finished moving sprinkler heads back further, so I can mow, without hitting any. Need 1 pc of 12” pipe. Run to ACE, buy wrong pipe. Run back, get right pipe.Drive home. Decide it’s time to fix A/C blower that quit working last week. Especially since it’s 90 degrees, and windows won’t roll down either. Take resistor out, plugs melted in place. Cut wires, get plug out. Call around drive 3 miles, wrong plug. Drive 10 miles still wrong plug. But right plug is in stock. 1 left. One problem, no money. Forgot bank card. Banks closed its 7:00 pm. Kid at register pays for part out of his pocket, $25, says it’s on me. I say no, I can’t let you do that. He insists. So I drive 10 miles home, get card, get cash, drive back, give him $30, keep the change. Drive home picking up fish and chips on the way. Now it’s dark, will finish tomorrow. Should sleep good tonight finally. Tomorrow I fix the air and windows. It was a hot one, hotter tomorrow.

Lol. I’m just glad we got something done today. Things always take longer, and cost more than planned. Main thing is making progress. So I tell myself anyways. What a day, everyone’s out, summers here. Classic cars, nice 56, mid 80s Omni 2.2 turbo GLH ( goes like hell) and a convertible Nash. Also saw a beautiful 65 Buick Rivera, w/ the best designed console ever made., all original hideaway headlights, triple black, 401 nailhead. along with small car shows, Car Club gatherings, local live music, parking lot fair, and planned fireworks. Families out having fun. And no more masks needed. It was a nice Drive, despite sweating my ### off.

This was Nahla. She was as stupid as a box of rocks, but smart and loyal.

They're like chewing gum if they're overcooked you know.
