    82 degrees wherever this is.

Truck is idling for the next two minutes until my break is over.

All right, friend, I wasn't intent on starting any pizza war but you had to go and poke a Jersey Shore guy in the eye. :D

I'm not sayin' that whatever you call pizza isn't good food. It certainly looks good to eat. I mean, if I took a bunch of #### out of all of the drawers of my refrigerator and piled them into a casserole dish I'm sure I could come up with something edible.

    It just isn't pizza.

No, real pizza, the pizza that most resembles what originally came from the Naples region in Italy (Italy, where food is done right), can only be found on the Boardwalk at the Jersey Shore.:)

I grew up on Rosatis. I like beggers.

Off 80 take 53 south in Joliet. About 4 miles down there is a Pilot (iirc) and another there truck stop. The other stop has beggers and a Chicago hot dog stand. Italian beefs, ect.... Blues brothers statues.

The way you do that, is, start Truck, push in clutch, then shut it off, and as you’re shutting it off, slip it into Low gear. Then restart Truck. Also works when clutch is out, and staying engaged. Only difference is, no need to push clutch in since it’s not disengaging. Truck starts in low gear. Once it’s starts you’re rollin. Also need to slip it into neutral before stopping. Trying not to come to a complete stop. If you do stop, simply slip it into low, as you shut it off. I drove 500+ miles home from from Hagerstown empty that way. The hard part was first delivering a 44k lb load, in a tight spot, only had a few feet in front with a big drop off. It was crazy. Still can’t believe I did it.That was a bad day.

A42F4AA6-D8D5-4105-B2F2-065000DC358D.jpeg Grand Prix in town this weekend. Racing on Belle Isle. They’ve got it all fixed up. Beautiful island near the mouth of the Detroit River. Meanwhile street racing is run amok. Police Chief is impounding cars, some pretty exotic ones too. He encouraged others to come on down, we’d like to get some more of these expensive cars.
