I think I’m the only one who gets at least 350k. I usually buy the thickest Luggers I can find.

So they last a long time, and for snow. I haven’t bought a set in about 8 yrs. been running my steers to about 130-150k, then another 140k or more on the drives.

That's a long time to have tires. Not worried about the age?

Really, even the last Chinese I bought. I’ve had 3 blow sidewalks before wearing out. 1 was a Bridgestone, I had bought used. I’m really looking forward to 8 new drives. Probably get Chinese set for $2400 or ? Whatever deal I can find. They’re half the price and wear almost as good. Dry rot is a problem. Why should I buy longer wearing tires, if they dry rot?

That is kind of what I was thinking. My car and pick up tires last more miles than I keep them for. Every 5 years I replace them regardless of mileage

I got the Jeep fixed. Wiring harness was a pita. Windows door locks, remote mirrors all working. Alarm switch in door latch was bad. Guy had a push button ground switch spliced into it. Then drivers window regulator/ motor quit. Lol. Found one at autozone. Going home now, get the work light out. Stupid alarm goes off for no reason. Vehicle disables, won’t start. Hit the magic button, it shuts off and starts. Might have to take it to local place. Let them figure it out. For now, the magic button stays.

Same here. My old Chrysler’s tires are rotting away. Bought them new Douglas brand at Walmart. Old P/U bough used ones. The Pontiac needs a set, broken belt. I’ve had so many broken belts, once they’re 5 yrs old. My Jeeps got good tread, but old man only drove 2000 miles per yr. they’re dry rotted. I’ll run them out some more. Don’t really go anywhere, just local.

Request denied. Maybe we can hook you up with some Detroit River water though. I think there's an old pumping station on Zug Island.
