The pair that gave up were Ariats (new pair also) 1st I'd had in a loooong time. As I was headed home this morning I was thinking what the hell I always get atleast 2yrs out of redwings, so I pull off when get home and check what date I started wearing them, I write it in the boot for comparison, they kicked the bucket 6 days shy of 2 years. I good with that I wear them everyday and my boots would not know what to do if they were full time shoot kickers.
What if it Snows?

Wings for the win. I've had some last quite awhile doing electrical that took a wtf pounding.
The ones I keep in the truck are the last pair I ever bought. Probably 8 or 10 years now. Just keep them for when a few shippers or receivers require them.
They need a good polishing.

Wore redwings for a long time but the last couple pairs I've gotten have been like a 1/4 size to big or small. When I was doing construction instead of service I got almost 4 years out of a pair.
The spares are wings once they started to break in though they just weren't "right" anymore.
They do look like they could use some love, excuse me they look like work boots.homeskillet, LoSt_AgAiN, InTooDeep and 4 others Thank this. -
Ran all night, slept all day. Caught a local perch dinner just in time. 11:00 pm Now it’s 1 hr. home. Nice country drive. Fresh coffee brewing. My 1 hr. nap turned into a 10 hr. break. Lol. Only 1.5 hrs from home, but needed it. Missed the traffic, scale. That’s good. Only regret, Truck idled the whole time. Yup, I’m that Guy.

Montana is the same way. Came up on a parked line of cars because the fire department had the road closed in a blind corner. No warning at all. Thank god I'm always on high alert . stopped about 2ft from the cars back bumper. About halfway there thought theres no way im stopping and was mentally preparing to take the guard rail over the ditch. Stuff like that makes me hate trucking alot. Hope that driver is okhomeskillet, LoSt_AgAiN, DrFlush and 6 others Thank this.

If you fellas really want some good boots get a pair of Whites or Hawthorne... You will pay through the nose for them, but if you semd them in to be rebuilt before they are completely destroyed they are well worth the money. The first pair of Whites I got were a pair of hand me down from my dad... Think I was about 14 or 15. They had already been rebuilt 3 or 4 times and I had them rebuilt twice more after I got them. #### good boots.
Heres a link to the White Boot web page...
