What if it Snows?

Must be Company policy. I had 2 wrecks with in 3 months. First one minor, second one major. I had Ooida Ins. Still have their CMCA Drug consortium. Afterwards I had quite a few “ Randoms”. Trying to catch me Driving Dirty! Lol. I got one last summer. First time in years. Last time before that, I totally forgot, and got a nasty gram threatened to post a refusal if it happens again. Thought I’d be sent again for sure. Took them 3 yrs. though.

 

What’s strange is I haven’t drank a drop of alcohol in 36 yrs. I dream of it though. A lot lately. Last night I was hanging out with friends drinking a quart of beer. Apparently when I’m sleeping, I’m a totally different person. Pretty Bad ### too. Sometimes wife has to wake my up. I’ll be pounding the pillow, headboard, or bunk wall. cussing, it’s strange alright. I’ve hit her a couple times. Thankfully she’s pretty tough, hasn’t been hurt. Even woke up, in a dream, had a hold of the Dog. Shaking her. Now all I have to do is fake snore, and the Dog runs away. Lol. Not funny. I Used to sleepwalk as a kid. I looked it up. It’s a sleep disorder, has to do with muscles not relaxing during REM sleep. Normally during REM muscles become totally relaxed, almost in a paralyzing way. Mine don’t. Causes acting out of dreams. 30% of Parkinson’s patients have the disorder. Might be an early sign. Hopefully not. It’s been happening for about 8 yrs now. Time will tell. I’ve got enough to worry about. Lol. Like the $5000 worth of Dental bridges, so my teeth will last the rest of my life.

Never know, now that it’s Legal, I might smoke a little in the future. I doubt it. But if I were retired and needed it for pain management or just to relax. I might. Maybe have a few beers, or some Whiskey. I like Whiskey. For now, I’m good. Really enjoy being clear headed. In control. If there’s such a thing.

 

Gotta Go. Daughters coming over for a BBQ. Woke up this morning, TV had a tribute to Women and Mother’s. Changed the station. They were talking about Juneteenth, changed it again. I’m like “ What about Father’s Day”? Can’t I just have one day? Lol. Happy Father’s Day to all the Fathers, and Role Models. Someone’s got to do the regular day in day out boring work, that makes the world go round. We need a new holiday for those that don’t have one. Like Festivus for the rest of us. Lol. Be safe.

 

Enjoyed a nice quahog stuffed clam, then surf and turf for dinner. If their steak had matched the rest if their food it would have been a perfect meal.
