I camped at this farm in Maryland last night. Looking around this morning and thinking to myself I wonder what 1100 acres about 35 miles north of DC is worth. Oh well the fmcsa thinks I’m rested and can continue on now. I did wave to the east just in case @MACK E-6 was looking this way.

The counties in Virginia near DC have some of the highest average income in the nation.

After a TON of rhinoceros sleep, I'm ready to go home.

It's MUCH cooler today, overcast, and light intermittent tain.

I can't believe the heat knocked me back on my heels as bad as it did. Well, maybe I can.......I've always been heat sensitive. I work best in the cold. At least I used to.

Part of the aging process, I guess.

One of the factors that persuaded me to stay yesterday:

I pulled in to a space next to a Schneider van. I pulled my brakes, then reached for something over on the passenger seat.

When I turned back forward, I saw I was rolling backwards! I pulled the paddles (which were already out), stomped the brake pedal a couple times, and was going for the trolley valve for a last ditch effort to stop my roll until I realized.........

I wasn't rolling BACK, Schneider was pulling FORWARD.

I'm well rested now. Gonna get a coffee and git goin'.

Constable is an elective office in Mississippi . You can almost be assured that this gentleman is not going around annoying potential voters

If that's the case, and I'm not doubting what you're saying, the position seems to be political graft at its best, or a way to target out of staters.

Yes out of states vehicles would probably be an easy target.

I've always thought that Jersey sweet corn was the absolute best. I'm going to have to try and git me some of this sloughhouse corn.
