Yea, I've yet to catch parking on the WB side, but I am assuming they probably have a small trail there as well. I've also never parked at the Emigrant Rest area west of these.

Got directionally challenged for a minute. The pictures are EB not WB

I was going to say but figured you were prolly tired. If you are heading EB try to leave real early or you will be held up quite a long time. by the stoopid guard rail work they are doing. From just past the scales to just past Floriston

We did alright today. Ran CA-20 off the gap down into Grass Valley, then over to Oroville, and finally to Richvale for rice cakes. Decided not to run back up 20, and instead ran 65 back onto 80. Had a few morons jamming their brakes at random, 2 dimwitts doing 35 in the middle and left lanes, and decided I needed some Alpine therapy at Donner.

I'm also the guy who parks at the TA in Kingman, and takes off into the desert. I've always preferred the wild places whether mountain, desert, or forest to anything/anywhere man made.

Today was punishment for me. Sciatica flared up about a week ago, since then continuing to walk/limp has made it progressively worse. Tomorrow going to hit an urgent care and get a shot of muscle relaxer/ couple days pills and do bed rest over the weekend.
