The best freezer stocking I ever got was free... When I was still workimg in the fertilizer industry one of the big wig bosses and his son had both filled elk tags... Thier family was not a fan of wild meat. They came by the shop to show off thier trophies and to remove the heads to take to the taxidermist. They were going to use a saw to cut the neck bone... Me knowing my way around a carcass, told them they were making it harder than it needed to be. I then proceeded to give them a lesson in seperating the skull from the spine with just a knife... It took me about 30 seconds. They were completely shocked that was possible. I then showed them how to remove the legs at the knee/hock joints, again with only a knife. The big wig boss then gave me the entire carcass of one of the elk. I couldnt believe it, I immediately started skinning and called a friend to bring his pickup to get the elk. We needed to get it someplace cool to butcher it. Needless to say, I took the rest of the day off to butcher that elk. It completely filled my freezer and his as well. By the time my friend got there (about 20 mins later) I already had the hide completely off and was ready to load everything in the pickup.

 

You gotta take her phone away on holidays........
