Slept a solid 12 hours thanks to the combo of pills and adult beverages. Going to see if I can manage hanging out at the party Mike's family is throwing, but it's more likely I'll end up back here on the hotel couch playing Assassins Creed. They have no AC so hanging out on their couch isn't quite as comfortable.

There were some HUGE black crickets on top of Battle Mountain, NV the other day when I stopped for a tire check. Big around as my thumb and about as long as my middle finger. When I first pulled in I thought there had just been tar spilled in the rest area.

Just make sure there's plenty of ketchup and onions.

Not the first time nor will it be the last... Ever wonder why the Seagul is the UT state bird? In early to mid 1800s, when the Mormons first came west, there was a massive locust hatch and thier crops were nearly wiped out. Having prayed for help from the Lord the Mormons viewed the arrival of thousands of seagulls as the answer to thier prayers.

    This too shall pass...

Awesome, learned 3 things today, and I'm still barely dressed. Just finished watching a video about a principle I thought had to be wrong, and broken down in a way it makes perfect sense.

Food prep is complete. We have leached a ride to Blackie from The Sheila.

Gathering The OM and supplies and we're off.

Starting the trip with the condiments shelf in complete and total disarray.

Did she sneak aboard an extra container or 2 of brownies/cookies/other fat generating edibles?

Should we start calling her the Supply Master?

Oh crap you are going to be in real trouble if she starts baking treats for the OM!!!!!!!!
