Just bumped the dock about 10 miles from my house. After I load this I will take it to the company yard and drop it for an OTR driver. Then there MIGHT be a run for me down to Burley for a drop & hook. Part of me doesnt want that to occur, it would be nice to be home before noon. But thebother part of me does want to go to Burley, because then I can just take the truck and trailer home for the weekend... And not drive the 50 miles home with my pickup from the yard.

We just got this new coffee maker at Meijer. Justified by having to spend $100, to use a $15 coupon. Haven’t used it yet. Kinda big, goofy top on removable water reservoir, just sits loosely. Needs a hinge. Slide out coffee basket, has an optional charcoal filter. The Carafe is nice. Lid stays on, push button to pour. Main reason We got it. Seemed sturdy, maybe put some Velcro on the bottom, once I get everything figured out for my shelves, fridge, and the rest of interior. Stay tuned for custom interior. Lol. Might happen in my lifetime.

That’s what I was wondering about your new Local Job.Last one I had (26 yrs ago) was 54 miles each way. 17 hr days sometimes. Cops woke me up once, sleeping in my car, engine running. Apparently someone called in a suicide. Lol. Nope just couldn’t make it home. Once fell asleep, in a dock. Woke up next morning. Daytime dispatch says your early, not due in till 11:00. I explained. They just laughed, gave me the day off. Local can sure be rough. Maybe take a Longhaul, once in a while. Just to get some rest. Lol

One more indicator we are on different spots of the career time line.

I'll take my old beat to crap 92 ext cab Pickup with more miles over the 2020 KW every time.

Bonus check will be here in a couple of weeks will be time to sit out back and have a serious discussion with myself then.

After unloading and looking at loads available today, believe we will sit at the truckstop. Let my partner complete a rolling reset, and should be able to do 1 myself (not that I really need it). Pickup a load tomorrow and get back to making money.

Well I get to the shipper 1030. Broker said it was 9am appointment, but they took 3 hours to load so it will be ok. Sams club, you had a 7 am, were not unloading it. I had a good paying load to be picked up today....... I have called the broker 4 times no real answer.
