We are approaching THE NEST now. The OM thought it best that we get some sustenance and stretch our legs first.

That’s a big part of it. I had a 68 F250, Camper Special with a 390 built by a Local Performance Shop. Sold it bought a 87 Dodge Mitsubishi Colt, wrecked and repaired with low miles for $1700. 35 mpg vs.8. I drove it onto the ground. Never changed oil. Lol. Drove it a couple yrs.Brake job was too expensive. Junked it. Got my moneys worth out of it. Tried to blow it up. Never could.

We drove a couple hrs. Talked about dieting and exercise. Then stopped at Ponderosa. She had Ribeye, I had Buffett. Now we’ll talk more about diet and exercise.

Yep and it's still causing local stir up with right wing radio hyperbolic spewage. Which is almost as bad as the left wingers hyperbolic spewage.........

I'm firmly in the "neither of the above group" Would prefer a civil discussion, just not sure that's possible.

Think we could potentially have civil discussion after civil war, but then the winning side is far from civil to the losers generating future problems. Both sides are fouled up, and we lost the big picture of small states with minimum federal oversight.

Ok NOW my first week of local is officially in the books. Started about 1330 Monday afternoon, finished today (Saturday) at 1700, was home all but one night. During that time I covered 2641 miles by the odometer, and I cant even remember how many loads or trailers I moved. Should have grossed over $1100, maybe as much as $1300... But I havent tabulated all my hours yet, so I'm not exactly sure.

Well, either way, that's some pretty good money for being home almost every night and on the weekends.
    Well done

We have cleared the THE NEST and are safely parked to the south of Eugene by about 600 miles.

I think there may be Chinese nearby.
